Will Power

In Human Design, Will Power is not a universal quality that can be cultivated through discipline. It is the specific mechanical function of a defined Ego Center.

Only those with a defined Heart Center have consistent, reliable access to willpower. For those with an undefined Heart Center, attempting to operate from willpower (making promises, being willful) is a Not-Self Strategy that leads to burnout and a feeling of having to constantly prove their worth.
