Unconscious

In Human Design, the unconscious is not a psychological concept but a mechanical one. It refers to the aspects of one’s Natal Design that are inaccessible to the conscious Mind.

• Source: The unconscious is derived from the Design calculation (approx. 88 days before birth) and is color-coded Red in a The Bodygraph.
• Nature: It represents the bio-genetic inheritance of the Vehicle—the body’s intelligence and its ancestral themes.
• Experience: The unconscious is what others see in you clearly, but what you only come to understand over time through observation. Correct operation of the unconscious is not possible through thought; it only happens by following one’s Strategy and Authority.
