Definition

Definition is the mechanical consistency of operation within a form’s Natal Design. It occurs where Centers, Channels, and/or Gates are consistently activated and connected at the moment of imprinting (birth). What is defined is fixed and reliable throughout life.
Definition establishes closed circuits inside the form. These areas sample the environment but do not fundamentally alter their functioning in response to it. Definition is not superior to Openness; it is simply the fixity of processing architecture.
Types of Definition
- Single Definition: A continuous, unbroken connection between all defined centers.
- Split Definition: Two separate areas of definition, unconnected. These forms often seek out bridging activations.
- Triple-Split Definition: Three separate, unconnected areas of definition.
- Quadruple-Split Definition: Four separate, unconnected areas of definition.
- No Definition: The design of a Reflector.
